JAMAICA!!!

We have been presented with a wonderful opportunity to go on a short term missions trip to Kingston, Jamaica with other young married couples from our church, Grace Church in Eden Prairie, MN. There is a lot of preparation going into this trip as we will share our lives with children and teens in a highly gang polluted area (a little different than the beaches and resorts you associate with Jamaica). Our living quarters will be in a safe location and we will be traveling with well known Jamaican’s who can also help us settle into the culture quickly.

The Luis Palau organization provides a Fun in the Son concert for all ages on March 20th. As we build relationships with Jamaican’s during the week, we will invite them to the concert and act as counselors before, during and after the concert. We hope everyone who attends will find a break from their routine life and experience a fun environment that is also safe. If you would like to read more about the concert and the artists, you can go to www.funinthesonjam.com.

Please join in this trip through your prayers. We are sure that our ministry will have a greater impact with your prayers and support. We will be traveling March 13 – 22nd. Please pray specifically that…
• While we train, we will become a unified team
• The hearts and minds of the people we will be working with will be open to us so that the relationships we develop will have a lasting impact
• We will raise the financial support needed
• We will daily find endurance and perseverance
• Everyone will remain healthy

If you would like to support us financially, your gift will directly impact the lives of the Jamaicans. Please make all donations payable to Grace Church to ensure they are tax deductible. As instructed by the church, please send them directly to us, made out to Grace Church. Please do not include our names in the memo line. Your donation and prayers are making this trip possible for us. We are so excited to share our experiences with you when we return!
